Terms of Service

By accessing or using FinanceQuest (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and FinanceQuest, Inc. (“FinanceQuest,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

FinanceQuest is a gamified finance education platform designed to help aspiring analysts, associates, and finance professionals master technical skills required in investment banking, private equity, and related fields.

The Service includes structured learning tracks, interactive lessons, quizzes, an AI-powered interview coach (Interview Lab), deal simulations, a finance sandbox, leaderboards, and community features. The specific features available to you depend on your subscription plan.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for material changes affecting paid subscribers.

To access most features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at hello@financequest.app if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

You may not share your account credentials, use another person’s account, or create multiple accounts for the purpose of circumventing subscription limits or platform rules.

FinanceQuest offers three subscription tiers:

• →Explorer (Free) — Access to Finance Foundations and Excel for Finance tracks, 3 daily challenges, XP & streak tracking, and community connections.
• →Elite Prep — Full curriculum access, up to 20 AI interview sessions per month, sandbox & case practice tools, leaderboard participation, and basic AI performance feedback. Billed monthly or annually.
• →Elite+ — Everything in Elite Prep plus unlimited interview sessions, advanced AI feedback & scoring, interviewer personalities, Superday simulation mode, and firm-specific interview packs. Billed monthly or annually.

All payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you will retain access until then.

We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us within 14 days of the charge and we will review your case.

We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days’ notice to existing subscribers. Price changes will not take effect until your next renewal.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• →Scrape, crawl, or systematically download content from the platform
• →Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service
• →Share, resell, or sublicense your account or content to third parties
• →Upload or transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• →Impersonate any person, entity, or FinanceQuest employee
• →Use automated tools to complete lessons, farm XP, or manipulate leaderboards
• →Harass, threaten, or abuse other users on any community feature
• →Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any access controls or subscription restrictions

All content on FinanceQuest — including lessons, exercises, models, cheat sheets, course materials, UI design, and software — is the exclusive property of FinanceQuest, Inc. or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the content for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from any FinanceQuest content without our prior written permission.

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you submit to us may be used by FinanceQuest without compensation or attribution to you.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FINANCEQUEST DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

FinanceQuest does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. The educational content provided is for learning purposes only and does not constitute financial, investment, legal, or professional advice.

Career outcomes, interview success rates, and similar statistics referenced on the platform represent aggregated user-reported data and are not guarantees of individual results.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL FINANCEQUEST, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

IN NO EVENT SHALL FINANCEQUEST’S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL FEES YOU PAID TO FINANCEQUEST IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

You may terminate your account at any time by going to your account settings and selecting “Delete Account,” or by contacting us. Termination of your account does not entitle you to a refund for any unused portion of a prepaid subscription.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms or that your use of the Service poses a risk to the platform or other users. In cases of serious violations, we may pursue additional legal remedies.

Upon termination, all licenses granted to you under these Terms will cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law — will survive.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in New York County, New York, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm.
