FinanceQuest started as a personal frustration and became a mission: make serious financial literacy available to anyone willing to learn.
Founder & CEO — Needham, MA · Age 16
FinanceQuest was built by Adham Khedr, a 16-year-old from Needham, MA who got tired of finance education being dry, gatekept, and boring. He independently founded a Private Equity and Venture Capital Club, taught himself to build in React and Next.js, and created the platform he wished existed when he was starting out.
He is currently a junior at Needham High School with a simple goal: make serious financial literacy available to anyone willing to learn.
The Story
When Adham started learning about finance, the available resources were either expensive prep courses built for people already inside the industry, or YouTube videos scattered with no structure. The best material was locked behind Wall Street internships you had to already be connected to get.
So he built his own solution. FinanceQuest is the platform he wished existed — a structured, gamified curriculum that teaches everything from financial statement analysis to LBO modeling, with the same progression mechanics that make great games impossible to put down.
Every lesson, every feature, and every design decision reflects a single conviction: if you present hard material the right way — with clear progress, real feedback, and a sense of momentum — anyone can master it. You don't need a Goldman recruiter in your corner to get there.
What We Believe
Every lesson is designed to build genuine understanding — not surface-level recall. You should be able to construct a DCF from first principles, not just fill in a template.
Finance recruiting moves fast. Short lessons, sharp feedback, and a progression system that shows you exactly where to focus next.
World-class finance education shouldn't require $3,000 courses or a network of alumni. If you're willing to learn, FinanceQuest meets you there.
FinanceQuest is built by someone who is in it too. The late nights, the cold emails, the technicals. This isn't a product built from a distance.
The platform was built by someone still in the grind. It was built for you.
